Pasty Cakes is an artisan patisserie founded by a chef trained for three years across Chennai's most prestigious five-star hotel kitchens. The range spans 105 signature products across 15 categories — from opera cakes and gateaux to gelato, bonbons, and hand-dipped truffles. The founder wanted a printed catalogue. We gave them something that works ten times harder: a living digital catalogue that never needs reprinting, positions the brand as five-star calibre, and turns every product into a shareable link.
Print catalogues are static, expensive to reprint, and impossible to share at scale. The product range was growing fast — 105 items across 15 categories — but customers relied on Instagram stories and word of mouth to discover what was available. The brand had no visual identity: no consistent typography, no colour system, nothing that communicated the five-star discipline behind every pastry. Customers shared blurry screenshots instead of clean product links.
We built a browsable digital catalogue on Next.js with 15 product categories, individual product pages with photography, and a featured selection that highlights the range. The brand identity tells the five-star origin story — 'precision learned in five-star kitchens, passion brought to every plate' — because that's the differentiator, and it was invisible before. Fully responsive across mobile and desktop with motion design that feels premium. 'Prices available on enquiry' maintains the artisan positioning.
