Who we are
ZDKIEL Labs is a design and development studio based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This policy covers zdklabs.com and how we handle information about visitors, enquirers and the businesses we contact. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive what you enter: your name, how to reach you (email or phone) and the service you're interested in. If you request our brand-audit checklist, we receive your email address. If you email or WhatsApp us, we receive your message and contact details. When you browse the site, our analytics and advertising tools record the pages you view, your device and browser, your approximate location and how you arrived — some of them using cookies (see below).
The free AI visibility check
When you run the check, we receive the business name, city and (if you give them) website and what the business does, plus your IP address to limit how many checks one visitor can run. We look up the business's public Google listing and website, and send the business name, city and category — never your contact details — to AI assistants (OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini, through our provider AIsa) and to TypeSafe, which reads their answers for us. If you unlock the full report, we also keep the email or WhatsApp number you enter, send you the report, and follow up once about it.
Cookies and tracking on this site
Vercel Web Analytics and Cloudflare measure visits and site performance without cookies. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to measure how the site is used. Google Ads uses cookies to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries and may use them to show our ads to people who have visited the site. The Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) uses cookies to measure and target our ads on Meta's platforms. Google and Meta process this data under their own privacy policies.
Businesses we contact
We sometimes contact businesses about our services. When we do, we use business contact details that are publicly available — for example a Google Maps listing or the business's own website — together with facts we observed on that public website. If you'd rather not hear from us, reply "no" to our message or email [email protected] and we'll add you to our do-not-contact list.
How we use it
To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project, to send you what you asked for, to deliver work for clients, to understand how the site is used and improve it, and to measure and improve our advertising. We do not sell your data.
Who processes it
Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (network delivery and security), Supabase (our database), Google (email, Analytics and Ads), Meta (the Meta Pixel), n8n (an automation tool that logs enquiries for us), AIsa, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, TypeSafe and Monid (the AI visibility check and our research on businesses) and WhatsApp, if you message us there. Some of these providers process data outside India.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and emails are kept for as long as we need them to respond and for our business records, unless you ask us to delete them. Analytics and advertising data are kept according to Google's and Meta's retention settings.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can control Google ads personalisation at adssettings.google.com, opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children.
